Have you ridden a Voyager? Just asking the question.

I say go for it!

She is all for it Al....she likes riding with me and is encouraging me to make it happen. I'm never big on spending money....must be the Norwegian in me....but she is the least of my worries. The stress is pretty much of my own making....but I know the time is probably right. The value on my bike is only going to go lower as the price for a new bike rises. If they truly do give me the $6500 in trade....I'm not sure I can pass that offer up. Coupled with the Costco discount....that really is a pretty sweet deal.

I'm a little surprised everyone likes the White/Gold one so much. It is a unique color combo for sure....and I too picked that one over the other when looking at them side by side....

CJ....I rode one at the 2010 SW Rally while in Arches NP....but never got it up over 35 mph. I asked to test ride it today....but they wanted all the paperwork up front since it has no miles on it. They will let me ride it....but they want all the paperwork in order beforehand in case I wreck it and if I don't like it...I don't have to buy it. It seems comfortable enough...but thats only sitting on it.

Oh yeah, I remember that - you traded bikes with someone and I had to go chase you down because you didn't leave your keys for the other guy.

Listen to the voice of reason Kris...............buy the white and gold one NOW. You only live once and you know you deserve it.

That is an excellent trade in price for the Nomad.

White/Gold is safer, easier to keep clean. Is the trunk really that much smaller?

Yeah....it is not nearly as deep as my HD style Premeux. Plus you gotta get a Yamaha luggage rack....or some other rack since Kawi doesn't see fit to make one for their own bike.....sheesh. It's a touring bike for God's sake....they should come with a luggage rack....even if you gotta make a stronger lid. Then I'm not sure if my Dekker Supreme bag would even fit in the thing, since it is made for the HD style trunk....

Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...................... !!

...Yea, I want one. The price up here is considerably more than US. But I am looking around to see if there are any deals to be had.

I wonder if the Costco thing applies up here as well. Gonna check that out!

Ok, Costco teams up with Kawasaki in the US. Check this link to see what we get in Canada. I might show up at the next rally on one of these!

You can get alot of stuff in the top loading bags. Can't make up my mind what color I would get, I like the black and gray and the white and gold. The seat on My 2010 Nomad is the best stock seat I have ever had and think the Voyager has the same driver seat.
