If you ride in East Tennessee, and ride the Devils Triangle (Near Petros and Oliver Springs), eat lunch or dinner at the Brushy Mountain Market. It is near the old Brushy Mountain Prison (shut down so no worries). They have burgers and other foods, and EXCELLENT desserts!!!! The Super Brushy Burger is over 1/2 pound (I think) with all the fixings and a side for around $7. Get a drink and it's under $10....Wait, you think that's alot? My wife and I split it and are still full!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah!!!!!! Then, if you haven't ridden the Triangle, then you are in for a treat....IMO better than the dragon, switchback after switchback, and VERY LITTLE TRAFFIC.....1/2 of it is FRESH blacktop too!!!! No big trucks, especially on the weekends!!!!! Love this ride for sure....It's a full days ride from where I live to get there, ride it and get back, but the lunch is awesome and the ride is even better!!!!!

+1. I usually just ride 116 up and down as it is the best part. I love that road. +1 On the Market too, had the same burger. Yummy.

I thought it's probably a good idea to update this thread since many riders are back home from the National Rally and there's still a whole lot of riding to do this season.

Any updates to CA, OR and WA would be appreciated.

Mountain Top Motel, Fancy Gap VA. 39.95/ night and bikers welcome. Right off the BRP on US52. The owner, Pete is very customer friendly. Nice local restaurant across the street.

I have had good luck at Microtel Inns an Suites. Just stayed at one in Beckley WV for a week while my wife and I rode the New River Gorge and Hatfield areas of WV. Talk about curves and switchbacks, wow. The Microtel in Robinsville NC is very biker friendly when riding the Deals Gap area.

When riding in North Georgia, stop by and eat or camp at Two Wheels of Suches. It had been a roadside attraction for many years before about 2011 when the owners closed it. It sat for several years but late last year, new owners bought the place and the surrounding land, beefed it up and its better than ever.

Great food in the restaurant. Located at 1915 State Highway 60, Suches, Georgia 30572, it is a hub for a bunch of other destinations up here.

While travelling the Yellowhead Highway #16 to Tofino British Columbia a week ago, stopped at a place called Little Fort BC .(Near Barrier and Kamloops BC) Breez Inn is the Motel and is good, clean and reasonable priced. Just been renovated. Along with it is a campground and a diner called The High Five. Diner has new owners the past year, lots of truckers stopping there and the food is absolutely awesome and huge portions. Schnitzel fills the plate and the extras that come for $12 is incredible. The pie is 4 to 5 inches high and one slice is a meal. Ham comes from a real ham and is very tasty. Service is great and waitresses are friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed. If you and Ma don't eat a lot, you can get by with one order of the main course and the piece of pie (Banana Cream-the best) plus a dozen other kinds will serve 3 persons to a slice.Enjoy!!!

Trip Advisor site above shows some of the pies and is a good review. Enjoy
