I'm still fabbing up my brackets for the fairing, then I'll need to find some gauges and a stereo system for it. As soon as thats done its off to the painter.

Thanks ringadingh for all your help!

I'll be keeping an eye on your progress, I hope it all comes together soon in time for the Summer which BTW hasn't arrived here in Ireland yet with temps of max 12*c and rain most days not to mention the hailstorms we've been having!

Thanks crazygene49!

I hope to hold on to the Nomad as it is a great cruiser and this particular one has fond memories of my cousin who bought it for me for my trip to Toronto last year but who was tragically killed in a work accident 4 weeks before I was due to arrive! :(

(thats him in the photo below)

I finally got my HD fairing mounted today, I made up my own brackets, that took a bit of time and thinking, but it looks good once its all mounted. It will be going in for paint soon. Then I'll need to install the stereo and gauges.

Glad to hear that you're on your way Steve. What ideas have you got for the paint??

Caddy, I hope i was able to help with whatever small contribution I made.
The HD looks great! and I'm sure you'll have many wonderful miles on it. Maybe one day you'll ship it and come for a visit to the colony. Try the west coast it's a beautiful place to ride.
Ride safe

Your contribution was great and again many thanks for it

I would love to visit your neck of the woods, I'm told the weather is very close to ours here in Ireland, that is plenty of the wet stuff falling from the sky but there must be some compensation like over here in the form of wet stuff in glasses, Cheers!

I bought another pair of hard bags, that are supposed to be in better condition than the ones I currently have. I have to pick them up, and then I should be ready for the painter.
I think I have decided on the stereo I want to go with, its a Sony DSX S100 which has a tray for your IPOD right inside the unit.
How are you enjoying the Ultra so far Caddy?
