Saddle Sore 1000 July 16

MikeInFLA, one of his buddies and I will be doing a SS1000 from down here in Florida to Helen, GA next Saturday, July 16. I am posting my Sport link here for you guys if you want to follow the ride.

We are planning to have lunch in Helen, ride a little up there and then head back to the house. I will post an approximate time of lunch next week after I talk with Mike because his buddy has a smaller gas capacity than Mike (Connie with aux tank) and I do.

You are certainly invited. It's been a long time since I saw you and would really like it if you could make it to Helen.

There is 5 of us riding up there and we are meeting two or three more when we get there.

Since we are on the clock we don't have a bunch of time. Our plan is;

We are planning to get to Helen around 1 pm. Not exactly sure where we are going to meet. Since we're on a clock we wanted to stop kick the tires, grab a quick bite and continue the long way to Dawsonville. Stopping along the way for photo op's.

Right now I count 8 motorcycles in Helen and if you can make it that's 9.

I'm going to talk to Coach when he gets back and figure out a meet spot. We'll keep you posted.

Good, thats a close enough estimate for me. I'll know by Thursday if I can make it. The only thing I can go until that time is my boss says "I might need you to work this weekend or I might not". Thats what happens when you have to work for somebody. :)
