What a difference new tires make!!!

Just put a set of Avon Cobras on the Nomad and rode up to Maggie Valley. Those tires have got to be the best tire I have ever put on a bike. The ride was so much smoother that the Metzler's and the "Bigstones" and they will hug it in tight in the curves. Just thought I would let anyone know that might be looking for some new tires. I also put in new Dyna-Beads and that makes it just that much smoother. Even the wife noticed how much smoother the ride was.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Rally in June.

The Avon Cobras and Dunlop Elite 3's are both great tires. The Dyna Beads could be what makes it ride so smooth.

I did the Avon Cobra's too, about two months ago after reading everyones recommendations. I couldn't be happier. Very nice, smooth riding. Didn't do the dyna-beads, I just can't believe in them. I know, I know, you're going to say they work. I read a ton of stuff on the internet before I made my decision to not go with them. I just do not see how they could work. I don't believe they will push out to the lowest spot. Don't beat me up, just my opinion.

The Avon on my front enhances the GYATT ride. Thats a mighty fine tire!

I don't know much about the physics of how the beads work, but I can tell you they work GREAT. I don't have any wheel weights on my bike and the ride is as smooth as you can get. I use them in my cars and my Dodge 2500 pickup and it runs big 310 tires. You can tell the difference.
They cost $15.00 dollars for the whole kit for a bike. As they say "Try it you'll like it" :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

One reason I buy Dunlops other than being a great tire, is that Dunlops are made in the USA. Buy American made when you can.

Some day I will probably end up trying the beads, as everyone seems to talk well of them. Then again, I know a guy who doesn't balance or bead his tires, say's he doesn't have any problems and his bike rides smooth.

Then again, he rides a Harley, so how would he know what smooth is? ;-)

Thats as close to a oxymoron as you can get. ;) especially with all those great American bikes that are available today.
