Swing arm bearings

Anybody know where the best place to find swing arm bearings and bushings? I found the bearings on Ron Ayers but was hoping some one had a couple of the outer races or bushing or whatever they’re called laying around for sale or trade

Theres several places to get these parts....they're listed under 'frame fittings'.....
https://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/a/...frame-fittings
Aryes, Rocky Mt Cycle, etc, etc, even on Amazon and Ebay.....
These bearings also affect also affect tracking, stability, front end shimmy, or death wobble. Front wheel and rear wheel alignment is also important.

I just ordered the bearings for one bike and seals, or whatever you call them, for 2 bikes.

If I had known...

How much did the whole smear cost if you remember? And where did you order from. I’m trying to save a lot of searching. I need to replace everything in there , I had to clean it all up when I was in there for the u joint. I got it all cleaned and turning and greased up but it had to go back together, I had riding to do and people to meet!

I’ve found it all on Ron Ayers but don’t know if that’s the best price. Thanks DL for the tip on finding them.

I ordered 2 bearings, 4 seals, and a saddle bag damper.

With shipping it was about $60.00.

It should be about $40 for the bearings and seals.

I wouldn't think that you would need the sleeves or the collar (spacers).

Call me, I think I have a serviceable set of used bearings.

They were in perfect shape, but I had the new ones, so I went ahead and put them in.

They're yours if you want to try them.

I always order from Ron Ayers, you may find the parts for a minimal difference elsewhere, but the service and shipping time won't be as good.

I need to find out where you got the ujoint from, I have a slight vibration in both the MS and Nomad.

I polished one driveshaft and painted it, now I want to have it balanced.

I'm trying to lose most of the Vulcan vibration.

I got the part # from a local bearing and coupling store. I will dig around and get the right all balls # for you. The sleeves had quite a bit of pitting on them , they definitely need replaced and the seals for letting that crap get inside there.

That's one gripe my wife has, the highway vibrations from the sissy bar make her back itch.

What have you done to reduce the vibrations so far?

If you are looking for the U-Joint replacement, this is what I used a couple of years back.

Sorry I don't remember which one I used, but this should get you started.
