It's not only power, but weight, stopping and handling. Losing 250lbs of bike without losing anything else is transformative.

I went from a Voyager to an FJR. The FJR was like riding a bicycle after riding the Voyager which was 250 lbs heavier. I could not however get comfortable on the FJR even after fitting risers, RDL seats and footpeg mods. After 3,000 kms I sold the FJR.
I am now looking at the Yamaha 1300 V Star Tourer as my next bike.
Lots of room between the rider and passenger, lighter than a Nomad and 86bhp with a few mods. I will buy a used one for around $5000.

A feet forward cruiser is a must for me and my gammy legs.

regardless of what style bike you choose if you ride any distance at all you will most likely
need to make adjustments to the seat,pegs,bars and windshield to fit your personal comfort needs.

I'm glad to see there are some solutions to the heat issues on the RM. I have demoed it 4-5 times and I think it is a great bike. Nice power, nice sound and wife says it is the most comfy bike ever. The cons for me were the front fairing design, heat on the right side and the price. Still...I ride it whenever I get the chance and I feel pretty drawn to it.

Yup, for sure. As much as bikes are made for the average, it seems a lot of us aren't average.
