I always seem to have the nack for stirring things up! The emblem comes off pretty easy with a heat gun and blade. They are soft metal and bend easily. I used 3M heavy duty double stick to reinstall. But for those that want new they are $36. at my local shop.

PS: after moving the bike to take this photo, I started back in house and heard a tiny noise then BIG as the bike fell to it's bars. Thank God for those crash bars! Now it's off to find my neighbor to help me lift it.

That's a bit different than the windshield emblem on my 2007. It looks thinner. Mine's probably 3/4" thick. That looks really good, the newer emblem - not so much.
