suggested bars

I'm 5 8 and im using the stock bars with phat II risers but I can't find that happy sweet spot. I'm just checking to see what other members have used. Any ideas will be helpful. I heard KST bars fit but the manu told me they are only for harleys so not sure.

You Can fit wot ever bars you like aslong as they are 1" bars ! you may have to get longer cables /brake /throttle /clutch/ & extend wires ! but if you go same size but different shape you should be ok !

Hands falling asleep? Arms aching? Shoulders hurt? Its the bars. Try a set of 8"-10" bagger apes. Anything longer, need new hoses and cables....
You simply won't believe the difference bars make!

I've decided to pull the trigger on the santee 11 bagger bars I think that will be a happy medium for me to try out and I've heard good things about them. So we will see when they get in.

Hey DL , I envy you . I've been looking for a stock Drifter 1500 for years now . Hear in central Saskatchewan they're almost as rare as seeing a UFO . I would love to see some photos of it when you get the bars done . It was a sad day for me yesterday as I watched the new owner of my Nomad load it on his trailer .

I had 14" Kromeworks bobber bars on mine . They kept my wrists straight which definitely got rid of a lot of pain and numbness . Surprising just how much the bars can make a bike good or bad .

Yea, I found this one, had a plastic oil gear on it, it was rattling a little, guy made me a good deal.
Just gonna stick my other engine over in it in a few weeks.
Just built my handlebars, scored a memphis shades batwing for $100 at a salvage yard last week.
Just had my old set of V&H Bagger exhaust off my old Nomad sandblasted, gonna wrap the primary pipes, mufflers coming off with extensions w/fishtails.
10" felt comfortable on my Nomad, so I'm gonna try 12 now on this Drifter....

I have some from Russell also.

I prefer the Galfer lines personally.

I haven't had a problem with one yet.

The Russell's have a tendency to rust and discolor.

Are those ss lines you referenced longer then the stock ones? I see they have a kit for the nomad and I was thinking of getting them but if they aren't longer to give more slack for the new bars it isn't worth it or should I get the universal ones?

I've wondered what older Fat Boy bars would be like. I put some on my Royal Star Standard I had because the grip ends were more parallel to the bike and kept my elbows from being out like wings. Very comfortable. Some day I'll try them on my Nomad. i would think the stock lines would work, too.
