Run with the Nuns

I just wanted to post this link to a ride my dad and I are planning on attending in Shreveport, LA in late October. It sure would be nice to see some other Nomads! - Jay

It looks like we're still going, but most likely not on the bikes :-/

With the unpredictability of the weather that could make me late or sick, and commitments for work immediately following the weekend, we had to make that troublesome "act like an adult" decision and take the car. :'(

We'll go to the rally portion, but miss the rides. My sister lives/works in the area, so we'll still have a productive trip and visit with her family. :)

Jay, Shreveport is 5 hours from my home and I would have strongly considered meeting you and your Dad there but I am working that weekend. Thanks for the invite anyway. Have fun.

Boy, I would be there in a heartbeat, but I will be attending my niece's wedding in Dallas, TX that day. Is this a yearly event ? I would like to try it next year.

As far as I know, it's annual. This is the first year I've head of it, but my sister just moved there.
