passenger floorboard transformers

???My wife is wanting to be able to move her feet around, jealous of my highway pegs. Goldwings have transformer floorboard! I thought I had read on here about something similar for Nomads--but discontinued. Any ideas?? TIA

I have them on my bike Modified Kury transformers. You have to modify them to get them to fit.
I bought mine on E-Bay cheaper and if I ruined them, no big deal.

I thought transformers were those little men that turned into cars and trucks and the like. Or, something that hangs on a power pole.

Sorry can't help you as I have not need for the rear floorboards unless I want to stick my feet back there.

Borto, I ride an 07. Not sure about your question about the Goldwing. I had the transformers when I had my Goldwing and the wife loved them. Had a welder weld a strip onto the bracket that the footrest attaches to so they will be sturdy enough for the wife to step on. They will not stay folded up though, they have to be down all the time, which to me is not a problem. I had them and the brackets powder coated black to match my bike. Blend in really well.

There is a item you can order on e bay and he is on Gadgets page under bolt ons. They are $80 shipped and what they do is move the floor boards down and forward as well as tilting them like the drivers floor board. i bought a pair and they are real nice. My wife has had knee replacement and this helps so her knee is not bent so bad and gives her better grip if I have to brake hard for the buttwipe cagers.

Gonna have to check that out Al. The Missus has "commented" that the seating/footing position is not the most comfortable.

I had them on my 02 Nomad, they used to sell the Wing version with an adapter for the Nomad, which is what I had. The problem was that the adapter was steel and the mount was aluminium, so the tab on the mount that held them up wore down. They would fall down in turns so I had to velcro them in the up position.

I just got the new Kuryakyn catalog and see that they are selling transformers for metric bikes as a rear peg replacement option. Maybe you could get a set of those and modify a bracket to let them mount.

Thanx I looked on Kury's site but didn't find quite what I was looking for. Found some new swing pegs. Did you find them in a paper catalog?? Was there a part number? Thanx Alan
