It's an insidious disease. It starts innocently enough, a piece of chrome here or there, maybe highway pegs, then driving lights, you never feel the monkey climbing on your back - you wake up one day and he's there. You'll never really get him off your back either. His appetite for chrome is voracious, his need to tweak things insatiable. Opium and cocaine addictions have nothing on chromaholism.

Don't say you weren't warned. ::)

Hi, my name is Cactus J. and I'm a chromaholic...

Bling - Bling. Ca-ching....Ca-ching!! It's a familiar sound for chromaholics. The sound of your wallet in it's final death throws.

I bought a Nomad so I wouldn't have to do anything too it, yeah right ~~~ and then it starts ~~~ you always find something else you just have to add. I've spent the last couple of weeks selling unneeded musical gear ebay so I can feed the addiction.

Oh, don't listen to Doc, you need Roadhouse Dooleys, not V&H. ::)

I've been diagnosed with the same disease by my wife. Apparently it's pretty obvious because she doesn't have a medical degree.

Youz Guyz are looking at this all wrong. You have an investment that has to be protected in these hard times.

All of that chrome makes the bike more sleek & aerodynamic, thus saving fuel.

A fuel controller will make more horse power & a faster bike, so you get to your destination faster which equals less time on those dangerous hi ways, you are safer & less time burning gas.

Another benefit is as you stand back & marvel at your hard work, you're not riding, again fewer miles. AND all of this shinny stuff needs to be polished, more time away from riding.

In the end you will have a work of art with next to nothing in fuel costs & very low miles. ALL of this adds value to your motorcycle, which adds value to your investment.

Last & not least is as you sit here reading my foolishness, your not watching porn.

And THAT's what I tell my wife every time she catches me on E-Bay........-Rich
