My guardian angel was with me,

The Santa Barbara area was very nice, I think we'll go there again.

Much better. We get tired of looking at our ugly mugs. Our better halves are much more photogenic.

Elvis. What date were you in Madras or Bend? Possibly 8/2, 8/3, or 8/4?

Thanks Rick, yeah it was a great trip. We rode the Big Sur coast twice, the views were very dramatic. We also enjoyed local wines so much so that I stopped drinking beer at home and switched to wine.

We arrived in Bend quite late on Aug 8 and couldn't find any place to stay so we rode to Sisters and camped at the City Park, very nice little town by the way. The next day we rode to the Dalles as shown here.

We had a great lunch here in the Dalles, highly recommended!

Were you in that area? I don't remember seeing any ST1300 although I think I saw a Nomad.
