Hey SCN... this is John Beasley.. My nickname is derived from my last name and it went like this Beasley, Bozly (from Charlie's Angels), Beasy, B-Easy, Easy. As you can see I spice it up from time to time with the Two-B-Easy (2BEZ) but for the most part people call me Easy or B-Easy.

I ride a 2000 model 1500 which in this group seems to be OLE SKOOL. Bought it used back in 2002. I have recently painted it... take a look

Scott Kelm, here, from Deer Park, TX.
My wife encouraged me to get a motorcycle 3 years ago because she wanted us to go riding with some friends. We like to ride whenever we can get away from our 3 kids, ages 11, 13 and 15.
I'm currently driving an '07 beautiful black Nomad.

Hey Scott
You got a smart wife there, she's a keeper ;)
Good luck with the "07", but black Nomads do run a little slower

Larry Sellers here in Pasadena, TX just down the street from Scott, and up the road from Charlie. Lucille is my first bike and since 7/12/07 she and I have spent over 11,000 miles together. Lucille's purchase was a compromise with my bride of 24 yrs. I told her it was midlife crisis time, and that the choice was between a motorcycle and a mistress. Seeing as how the motorcycle didn't cost me half of everything (plus child support for 4 more years) I think I chose wisely.

We are Bill & Cheryl McDonell. The dog is Ms. Bea. We are both retired and live about 15 miles South of Fort Worth.

I told Cheryl that I was going to buy a motorcycle and take off. She said, she and the dog were going with me and started dictating features the bike must have.

We bought our black 07 in April.

I had a similar conversation with my wife before I got my Spirit 1100 several years ago. I told her I was thinking about buying a bike. She said "Better that than another woman. Make sure it's big enough that I can get on the back." :)
