So, instead of the iron butt ride, I'm thinking about a shorter ride... Was thinking of taking a trip to Meers, OK for one of their BIG hamburgers. My dad brought it up last weekend while we met with one of our new members, Pretzel. We really haven't talked much about it, but threw the idea around a bit. Any of you guys want to head that way? Looks like we may do it on the 22nd... same day as the iron butt was scheduled.

I am definitely down for this, I despise their burgers but the rest of it is awesome! The wife may or may not come, I hope that's cool! Oh and again, this is dependent on my tooth not dragging me down.

I did it! Just got my IBA # and password.
My sister and I left from Farmington, AR @ 4:10 AM on 9/20/12 and spent the night in Jamestown, NY. Checked into the hotel at midnight. It was a long ride but we really enjoyed it!

Let's face it... You kinda had to pull it off.
Admiting you couldn't keep up with your sister isn't really a option.

Congratulations Jesse

Should we ask who was more comfortable on that ride?

Congratulations Jesse, I'm jealous. Guess I'm going to have to get with the program and do one too. With the Day Long seat it's not going to be to much of a challenge.

Congratulations Jesse, I saw your sister's ride in Antlers and I guarantee that the trip was much easier for you than her!: Heck Gene, an IBA ride for you is the same as a Sunday afternoon jaunt for the rest of us.

Gene has probably done more by accident than we will ever do on purpose.
Gene I think all you will have to do is document one of your rides. How is that Russel Day Long working out?

The Day Long is working great! The only reason I have stopped since I got it is to put gas in, or maybe to eat something once during the day.
