That's a possibility, but don't change it for one person. Pick the date that works best for the group. I'll be there if I can....I seem to live a crazy schedule.

Rustyford and Mo are north of us three and looks like they could intersect I-35 at the Cimarron turnpike near Perry, both wanderer and chucks are south of me so we could meet up on I-44 near Newcastle and ride up from there. There is a Dairy Queen about 8 miles north of the Cimarron turnpike all of us can meet at and ride together from there. This will minimize needless back and forth and all will take everyone about 1-2 hours to get there (except chucks...you got a bit to go, lol) I can build a ride gps file and email it to you all starting from the DQ and we can figure out what time to meet.
If we don't start the official ride until Perry, that makes you and me ride about 200 miles without getting credit for it. Even more for chucks1911.

OK so here is the tentative route.

A. Walmart in Newcastle is where chucks, wanderer and I will meet up to start our group ride. Everyone officially start your ride from home or gas station nearby. The mileage I list is based off of this map so each riders exact 1000 will be different and we can stop accordingly or when all 5 of us cross 1000 if time is getting short.

B. This is the DQ where rusty and Mobandy will meet up with us, again you two start your 1K at home and both of you will be ~100 miles into the ride by the time you meet up with us, so chucks will hit 1K first, followed by wanderer, then the three of us should be pretty close to the same time.

C, D. These are just the turning points for the interstate.

E. This is 1,012 miles using A as the start so expect each 1K to be finished here...we can choose to pick one gas station here for all of us or just to finish off each ride individually. I figure at this point Mo and rusty will split off and head their own ways.

F. Moore where the rest of us will split off.

Note. There are multiple tolls, so if you have a pike pass...bring it. But also bring cash because I-35 at the KS/OK border is also a toll road and I-70 at MO as well as the OK highways.

We will. It's their second year and the first didn't have a great turn out. Hoping to get the numbers up for a good cause.

So, Sept 22, right? I kind of forgot about this thread for some dumb reason. Let me make sure I can do it. I'm not 100% committed yet. I'll get back to you. It is something I want to do, though.

So, looks like my route would be 1,025 miles from doorstep to doorstep (depending on how you plan on going through KC & STL). What time are you planning on starting? What time would we meet at the Dairy Queen? I'm at 75%-25% go-no go at this point.

Well I really want the other two to say what time is good with them also. I would say we meet up around 4 am at DQ, that would have MOST of the ride in daylight hours.

That's what I was kind of thinking. If we left early morning 3-4am, most of the ride would be during the day... and, we could get home by midnight (hopefully) and get some good sleep.
