Ok the deal is done!

The rally headquaters will be the Ranch Motel in Salem, MO.

Their address is: Highway 32-72 Salem, MO. 65560

Their phone number is: 573-729-3157 or Toll Free at 866-667-2624

The room rates are: $52.19 for a Single and $63.06 for a Double

Ask for one of the KawaNOW Group rooms.

Again the dates for the rally will be April 26, 27 & 28, 2011

The motel does not take Discover Cards

I made my reservation today while I had them on the phone.

Jim & Liz, I didn't vote now because if I'm still working shifts it would require me to take 48 hrs of vacation to make the rally. I've already scheduled 60 hrs for the National. If I'm working straight days it would only require me taking 36 hrs or less using comp time. I should know something pretty soon as I just got out of a grueling 2 hr interview with my manager, his manager, and human resources.

I may be able to squeeze this in. Like Mitch, I'll have to check my schedule. Also the condition of my "slush" fund since I'm going to try to go to the national rally

It appears to be a 7-8 hour ride to get there.

I will be there for the rally. i will not be needing the motel, as i live only 40 mins from Salem.

Yes I did mean 2011. I modifed the post to correct the mistake. Like a lot of people I am still running a year behind. Thanks for keeping an eye on me, I need all the help I can get.

Jim, are the dates at all flexible? This makes it necessary to take a whole week off work. If it included a weekend like Victor's rides, then we could maybe only take two or three days off instead. I may be able to attend, but I doubt Ann will.
I'm hoping to take the long way to the national and ride down the full Blue Ridge Parkway, so it would be good to conserve a little more vacation for later in the year.
I am definitely interested though.

I wish you had said something sooner as dates have been agreeded on with the Motel. It will be Turkey season down there and they where pleased we would be there during the week and not the weekend when more hunters are wanting a place to stay.

I figured that was helping to keep costs low. I'm going to try to attend, I'll do some more calculating on how many days I have saved. I need to make sure I save enough for the Margaritaville ride too.
