Wife and I are anxious to see everyone and enjoy another ride on top of the mountains. We have reservations for 4 nights.

Gonna play it closer to home because of my dad. Plan on TXVROC Meet in the Middle in Cedar Park Oct 16th and 17th.

Y'all have a safe trip. My shift schedule changed at the plant, so I'll miss seeing y'all this time. Will be making the run to Talimena, the Pig Trail and Scenic 7 the following Friday 10/23 through Monday with a group of buds and other riders.

I'm also a newbie on here and I wish I could be there to introduce myself. I don't think I'll be able to make it though, as it is Homecoming weekend at OK STATE and I'll be there all weekend.

I've been on the ridgeway once before and it was beautiful. I hope I can join up for a ride some other time.

Well its great to see that alot of you are coming, and i am sorry some of you cant make it this time. Dont worry I am going to try and keep this going as an annual event, kind of like a fall rally for us, also I will be planning a long ride for those that can get away, it will be in the future and will be some 3000 miles +. those that cant make the whole trip can pick us up along the way and travel along as we make our way to "Margaritaville"

A total of 332 people have read this thread. Time to get off the couch and ride this ride. Some people talk a real good ride. Now it's time to get out and do it. $40.00 for the room is a good rate.
The ride is excellent. Nightmare is a super host and knows the area well and he's supplying food and drinks. What more could you ask for. Don't think about it, just do it.

Just tried to call the motel and no answer so I will try again later. Liz has her vacation approved and a blessing from her doctor so we are coming unless something else happens to change things. We will be leaving Macon on the 14th and make an easy 2 day ride down there and return home the same way on the 19th and 20th. I have got to get the oil changed in Liz's bike and check her tires for wear. I have a new set of tires on the shelf for her bike if needed. So hopefully we will see every one 10/16/09.
