Hello from Ontario

Just thought I would drop by and say hi.
Just got a 2001 Nomad FI and I found this site to do research and learn.
Haven't ridden her more than 2 blocks yet, because of course I am the crazy guy that buys a bike in the winter.
Looking forward to the education and I know you will all help me become familiar with the bike.
Pierre

Welcome aboard from down yonder in Alabama, USA. The 1500's are good bikes. Still have one myself.

Thanks fellas. These bikes are nice. Great reputations.
Mine will look better in spring after the wash and wax.

Welcome from Minneapolis. Smart looking beast you have there. I concur with buying in the winter /Fall. It hurts when you can not really ride. Bought my last one in October, only put 600 miles before parking. I get it though, we do it when we can. Then wait for the weather to clear up some to ride again.
Nothing stopping you from going into the garage and sitting on it going Vroom Vroom. Just don't get caught, But that is another story

Yeah I do some maintenance when the temp is up (which isn't often) like fluids and filters but other than that I read and learn. Last Kawi I had was a 77 KZ1000 so it's been a while and the tech is newer but I like it.

Ahh, fond memories. Had a 79 KZ1000 MKII, man the things the bike put up with from me.
