Driver Back Rest

I've used one ever since I bought the stock Kawi ugly one for my 99 when it was brand new. With a broken lower back, I couldn't ride without it.

Driver Back Rest

When I ordered my Mustang seat shortly after getting my Nomad, I figured I would order one with the driver backrest. That is probably the single greatest add-on I've put on the Nomad. Well worth the extra expense.

The first time I used one was when I owned the wifes 900. I bought a used Corbin dual tour from a member on another forum. So it stands to reason when I bought my Nomad, I ordered a new one. You could probably compare it to sitting on a couch. They both feel the same way. You can just strecth your legs out on your highway pegs and relax. I would not own another bike without one.

Backup is what I have. For the money tho, Grasshopper is the way to go. They are a Godsend. By the way, when I got mine, Grasshopper had not yet begun production for the Nomads.

Like CJ, I went ahead and sprung the extra bucks for a back rest when I ordered my Mustang seat, Now, no way I could ride without one.

I just placed an order from Grasshopper yesterday. I am expecting it tomorrow should come that fast right?
I am looking forward to the 300 mile runs without feeling like a snail at the end of it.

Never have had one but I'm strongly considering it. On my last bike (Boulevard C50) I had pretty good lower back support with the standard Mustang seat. With the stock Nomad seat I'm missing that feeling.

I should have mentioned that as well. Grasshopper didn't start making backrests for the Nomad until after I'd bought my Mustang seat. I'd still have bought a Mustang, but most likely would have bought it without the backrest.

Have you been good Rich? ::)

I'm hoping with ya man. I LOVE mine! Wouldn't be without it. There's no way I would ride any 6-700 mile days without it.
Just make sure you get one before you head out to Custer in June.
