The Powertrip Mojave jacket I ordered from Newenough.com just arrived. Wow! I was worried it would be too tight on me, but it's a tad large, which means I'll be able to breathe in it. It does fit pretty well and it looks nice. It's styled more like a cruiser jacket than a sportsbike jacket, which is one of the reasons I went with it. I wasn't planning on riding to work tomorrow, because I have to attend a lunch meeting across town and the boots would look tacky. So I probably won't really try it out until Friday, when it's supposed to be 100.

Does look like a nice jacket CJ. The acid test will be in a couple of weeks. Cold, warm, hot, or blistering, that will be the question! Of course you are going on to Salt Lake after Mesquite so you might experience the full spectrum in weather changes.

Here's an unintended benefit - the jacket matches my HJC Vulcan 2 helmet perfectly. It also looks good with my other helmets. I'd better stop now, or I'll be getting a visit from the guys from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". Normally I couldn't care less if anything I wear matches.

I have the Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 Mesh Jacket and I like it a lot.

They come in a variety of Colors The nice thing about the Joe Rocket Jacket is it comes with an inside (removeable rain coat) which is nice to have.
