That certainly looks like a nice trunk for the pice. Too bad it doesn't come with the Ultra tailights built into it.

I think like CJ said....if I already had a mounting rack and such....I probably would have gone with the Scootworks trunk and had it painted to match my bike. However you go, good luck with your project...you will love it in the end!

I've been going back and forth trying to balance to cost of this trunk over getting an actual Harley one. The big thing is with a two tone bike I will end up painting whatever I buy anyway so buying a completed one isn't saving me anything as it will get stripped anyway.
The Premeux Tour Packs come factory color two-tone painted and pin-striped right out of the box. All the hardware is installed, including the luggage rack. It even comes with a really nice chrome mounting bracket. I'm just sayin'...... ;) !
I've looked at Premeux and that would be my first choice. Near as I can tell on their horribly tough to navigate website the trunk painted is now $1750.

I've been trying to find a more wallet friendly solution which lead my search to the reckless trunk and others.

To be honest, Premeux was probably my last choice, but when all things were considered, for the few extra bucks it was gonna cost....it was well worth it.

I seen a new HD Ultra tour pak sell for about $1400.00 on Ebay a couple years ago. Thats actually not a bad price when comparing to the Premeux. But it may not be the color you require.

Does anyone have a trunk from a1hardbags that they are selling for $300? I called them today and had trouble understanding the person at the other end of the phone, Asian I think. He did not sound too sure of any information about the trunk they advertise.

TIA

dave....

Has anyone done business with Premeux recently

I called the "english" phone line and that did not work.

Their "english" button on their web site does not work.

And, sending them email does not work.

Not sure they are still in business??

I just went to Scootworks to see what their holiday discount was. For the large trunk and studded seatback, with liner material for trunk, the total came to $707.

That's 10% off and free shipping. I almost bought it but then reality set in and I decided to wait.
