Idaho's Jack Adapter Review w/pics

CaddmannQ, If you look at the pix that Beezer posted at the beginning of this thread you will see the cross piece that he put the coat hanger through. That piece sits across the front of the frame right where it turns and heads upward. The back of the adapter is held in place by pins (you get to supply those, nails work) through the adapter taps into the Nomad frame tabs. Hope this helps.

How much?

Wow, nice review Beez. Thank you. I really like mine. It sure made changing the oil a lot easier. I look forward to pulling the wheels off with it.

If anyone wants one just send me a message. For now, I'm only charging enough to cover the cost of manufacture and shipping so that I can help more guys get their Nomads in the air.

Right now I'm still selling them for $70. That is pretty much break even and includes shipping. If you want one just send me a personal message.

Thanks,
Idaho

Obviously I don't have a box that fits around these things so we sort of wrap cardboard around them and hold it all together with strapping tape. How did it hold up?

I gotta tell you guys, I love my adapter. Bike is nice and stable no matter how much wrenching around I do to the bike. My own shameless plug.

Just remember to remove the darn thing from the bike before you drive off.

Yeah Rich, it is 1" square tube and very stout. Makes the bikes very stable on the jack.

Idaho's Jack Adapter Review w/pics

A couple of years ago I made a jack adapter to accomplish the same thing. Mine was more complicated... now looking at yours I don't know why I made mine so difficult.

LOL, must be my simple minded nature. I'm actually still pondering ways to make this thing easier and simpler. That is part of the reason why they are still only 70bux.

I need feedback. ;)
