Coolant cover issues

I arrived at the house yesterday after riding about 30 miles to and from two different jobs. My wife noticed the coolant cover was missing from the right side of the motorcycle. I have an '06 Vulcan Nomad in Ebony.... Looking online the cost is about $125... Anyone found any locations for a lower price?

It is what it it is. Painted parts are expensive for these bikes. Have you tried eBay?

Thanks... I'll bid on it and see what happens. It was kind of weird. Didn't hit anything. Pre check was good... Who knows? I work am off duty security job at one of our hospitals... Someone might have tried to mess with the bike... Who knows? Forks were locked so it couldn't ride away.. I guess I'll learn to double check after riding, huh?

Sometimes those round rubber lock gromits get stiff with age and the little cover locks don't snap in all the way. A little dab of vaseline makes them like new

Good 'ol Ebay. What would we do without it!
