Mitch and Darlene.....

Well, let me get right down to it....Mitch and Darlene have sold their Nomad and purchased a Harley Davidson Ultra Limited.

Mitch called me this morning and told me about it. I congratulate them on their new purchase. Mitch knows that he won't be a part of the staff anymore, but he has also assured me that he and Darlene are not going anywhere. They will continue to be a part of the VBA and the SouthCentral region.

I hate to see Mitch go as a staff member, but I'm glad that they'll still be around on the VBA.

He must of grown tired of worrying about that fuel pump. Glad to hear he plans on staying with VBA.

What color, pictures? I'll bet it's nice. I guess this explains trailering the Nomad lately (practice).

LOL, beat me to it. Although, most harley trailers are open, they want everyone to see what they have.

Now that was funny Jim. Thanks for the kind words guys. I planned on holding out until the '13's came out or later but they sweetened the pot well enough to convince me to do it now. Mike Bruno's Bayou Country HD sold an Ultimate last week to visitors from Tennessee. They were spending time with relatives and went over to see the huge inventory they have on hand. They were treated so well that they bought the bike and had it delivered to their home in TN. They came over to my home today and picked mine up while I was at work to wire in my Garmin harness. It's done and they will bring it back tomorrow. I passed there today after lunch and I felt sad to see my beloved Nomad for sale in their front lot. I really loved riding it for over 4 years. It gave me 37,550 miles of great riding and introduced me to some really swell friends. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in Antlers. Ride safely my friends.

If I remember right this means he owes me money. Im sure I bet him he would have a Harley within 30 days. Oh yeah! You know im right Mitch. You know Im right about that. I do believe it was 50 bucks. Mitch owes me fifty bucks. I cant remember if anyone else took any of that action. How bout it. Does Mitch owe anyone else fifty bucks?

Mitch the purchase was a brilliant move! Bowing out of the "Staff Obligations" by purchasing a Harley was freekin brilliant! Let someone else worry about rallys and planning all at a zero salary!
