Wind up dinner at the Iron Goat

Am I the least bit excited for this rally?
I must be. I'm already picking what I'm eating at the wind up dinner.

Alberta Lamb Shank
- $21.75
Braised for 12 hours and served In a rosemary demi-glaze
with warm bacon potato salad

See anything you like??

With Weds being a "do as you please" type of day, what time is the dinner. So we can make our way back to the Iron Goat

We're thinking about 7:00pm...?? Nothing has been finalized yet but we're getting close, so I guess we should zero in on that. And for those who have not checked the latest itinerary updates....we have moved the dinner at the Iron Goat up to Wednesday July 18 to better accommodate anyone who might be leaving the rally early.

Dwayne....I might have to hang with you on that off day and use you as our personal tour guide. I just know that you know all the cool local stuff to see and do....!

Kris you might want to try the Hot Springs in Banff or a round of golf with some of the boys. Meanwhile the wives could be melting credit cards with all the boutique shopping available in Canmore and Banff.
The Bow river has some very nice Rainbow & Browns but best fished from the 22x Bridge (South Calgary) to Carseland, AB. (Ooops, that could be another reason to come back to Alberta at some point)

Probably won't be in Canmore until 4:30 (have to work 'til 2) on Weds, but I did manage to get both Thurs and Friday off

looking forward to meeting everyone

Dayam Rick, I was going to tell you to calm down until I read the menu. Looks like some good eats for sure.

Is there any one meeting prior to your supper? I am trying to get away from work ( have not been able to commit to anything this year! I might be able to pop out after work for a couple of hours - but need to be back in Calgary by 9:00 PM latest as 4:00 A.M. comes early! Would be nice to meet a bunch of you guys in person! but if it doesn't work - I guess it doesn't work! Did I mention I need a new job?

Wed 18 is a free day, so I assume attendees will be spread out all over until we get together for our dinner. I'll bet though if you just rode to the Hotel, there will be plenty of folks hanging around....especially for the few hours before dinner. It would be great if you could stay for dinner...even if you can't stay for the prize raffle...but why would you wanna miss that...?? To me it would be worth a short nights sleep.....

Rewindgy, I'll be off work at 2pm and leaving the city by 3:30. If you'd like to meet up and ride out together, on Weds. I'm in the McKenzie Lake area.

Yum, Baby Back Ribs look good. After the ride back from Utah my butt is ready to go again. See you on the 15th Rick. Timmy's on Sumas Way is easy so just give me a time.
