2010

I began thinking the other day, up until the year 2000 most everyone expressed the year when speaking as nineteen something or eighteen something, for example nineteen sixty eight, rarely nineteen hundred and sixty eight, unless you were a lawyer drawing up a contract or deed of sale or something.
2000 comes along and for ten years we all say two thousand or two thousand and one etc., never twenty 0 one or twenty o three etc because it just doesn't sound right.
Finally 2010 and we can again express the years much the way we used to as twenty ten or twenty eleven with out it sounding weird.
OK, so maybe I have just too much time on my hands, or I'm experiencing flash backs from the stuff I experimented with in Nineteen hundred and sixty eight.
Hope everyone has a great year.

I keep hearing them on TV pushing 2K10.

Personally, I think we should just go to binary. Then next year would be called 11111011010.
