Our Key West Ride 2011

We got back yesterday from our 10 day / 3000 mile ride from Lexington, KY to Key West doing our best to avoid large cities and Interstates. We rode down through VA, TN, NC, SC and through Augusta, GA on down to FL. It was a great trip with a few rain storms but nothing horrible. The rear tire starting to go flat on the Seven Mile Bridge was not too much fun, but we nursed it into Key West and Honda of Key West (I have nothing but praise for these guys and their little shop) put on a new Dunlop Elite 3 radial which made riding much more fun. Here a link to the shutterfly gallery, my wife was busy with the camera!: http://tlwiz.shutterfly.com/3981
If you are getting ready to leave on a long ride and you think "that tire should be OK 'til I get back" my advice is to think again. :)

Thanks!
We haven't been down there in about 20 years.
I think a road trip is due.

Lot of miles glad you only had a problem with the rear tire. Sounds like it was a good trip.
