That's a horrible paint job. He may be a great guy and I doubt anyone is judging anything other than an ugly paint job

I like the orange and the flat black Vaquero. I could do without the flames, though. They do look pretty cheap... like an after-thought... "oh yea, we were supposed to put flames on this model. Grab some of those stickers over there and slap them on real quick."

Solid orange and I would've bought one in a heart beat! I may be looking for them!

More like, "We've gotta do something SPECIAL! Go buy me a handful of Hot Wheels from the toy section at WalMart and we'll use THEIR ideas!!" LOL

That orange alone, with some blacked out parts... now THAT would be a keeper!

Looks like the Vaquero ABS will again be available here in Canada but still only in a black colour, and the flat black to boot! Not what I would want. Wish they would offer the ABS with a few colour choices.

And the Candy Plasma Blue colour on the non-ABS Vaquero that I loved from 2012 is gone.

No ABS, no care.

Looks like I won't be buying a Vaquero this year either.

After owning a bike with ABS, I won't get one without it in the future. It's amazing that it's standard on cars, but most bike manufacturers still offer it as an option. It should be standard.

My brothers concours has ABS. I tried to lock up the front and it worked great.
In my entire life though. I have never locked up both breaks and not been able to stop in time.
For me ABS is a non issue and I would never pay extra to have it. At least not on a cruiser. I could see where it could come in handy on a sport-tourer though.
That conny could get you in real trouble real quick. It will outrun a Vulcan in second gear.

I just dont understand why kawasaki keeps painting the lowers black on the vaguero. I love the body lines with the lowers and would never paint them the color of the frame, Why hide one of the most distinctive parts of the bike

Does anyone know why in the world ABS is $1K more? It seems pretty straight forward with minimal additional parts. I imagine having it as an option let's them get away with charging so much more for it, being somewhat of a novelty item.

What completely floors me is that ABS is an option on a Ninja 300, but not on the Vaquero.

I gotta disagree with that.
I don't want ABS so why should I have to have it on a bike I otherwise would buy?
At times I go into a curve to fast and I use the rear brake only, if I try that with ABS the front tire would be braking also which I think would be a little dangerous.

You are very right about that
vulcans don't like to turn with alot of front break, mine will actually try to stand back up if I am leaned into a corner and have to grab the front, The rear break doesn't affect the handling at all, So I use mostly engine and rear break to get into corners I use front break coming up to the corners. I'm not sure what would happen with ABS.

Not with a BMW. They use partial integral ABS. Grab the front brake and both work, step on the back brake, just the back works.

I was thinking the same thing.

You would also think it's more work to build both. If they all get it, it's possible to get lower costs due to higher numbers, more leverage with vendors.
