I had a '77 XS and when it was on the center stand, if you cranked the throttle it would dance in a circle from the vibration. Even with the vibes it was a fun bike.

My first bike was a 1974 Yamaha TX500. Hard to believe we considered that a pretty large bike at the time. I even rode the thing from PA to Maine in 1977 for my first long bike road trip!
