Saddle sore?

Pretty quiet around this forum. I suspect a little burnout perhaps? A lot of catching up at work maybe? Hope everyone had a safe ride home from Custer. I was extremely jealous of you rally-goers but with a new job my participation was a pipe dream at best. Hopefully 2010.......

Nice weekend ahead though and I'm heading down to Winnemucca and Reno for a three day weekend with a couple of HD buddies. Good times.....

Regards,

Bob

P.S I promise to change out my extremely lame avatar photos very soon.

Hey Bob,
Yes indeed....pretty quiet, but we're all here! Definitely catching up as being gone for 9 days can put you behind the 8-ball for sure!

We had a great run to Custer and back. I think there were at least 6 members from our NW region who made the trip. Me, BigJohn, Duke, Ballast, Idaho and Landman were there and god I hope I am not forgetting anyone.... :-/!

My butt held up better that I expected, but what really surprised me was how well my wife did....she did awesome with no complaints....and I mean none... ! The Mustang seat helped a lot, but getting off the bike every 75 miles or so helped even more!

Hope you have a safe ride south and definitely keep active in here! We are just in the very early planning stages for our NW Regional Rally next year in Kalispell, MT Aug 3-5....but I sincerely hope to see you there if we don't meet up someplace before then!

Cheers....Kris

PS....in case you missed my Custer trip report, here is the link...

Bob,

Have a great time and win lots of $$. You might want to take an extra saddlebag to pick up the Harley parts. Just kidding!

Bob,
In keeping with current economic trends, 75% of all winnings are to be shared, 10% to the NW Region Members, the remaining 85% with me. You will be allowed to keep 3% for expenses (proof required). Any losses suffered are your responsibility. (Charlie - is my math getting better or what?)

Have a great trip, watch the weather and live stock. Both have created some challenges the past couple weeks.

Thanks everybody. I don't post too much but I pretty much read it all. Kawanow has me hooked - it's a form of escapism I suppose. I would love to meet you all next year in Kallispell if not beforehand.

I'll look out for the critturs on the road to Reno.

Best regards......

Bob

Hey Bob,
I just came up through Reno and spent my last night in Bend. It was a beautiful ride from Reno to Portland with no freeways involved. Reno and Vegas got me for $55, Good Luck

Yup, me too. Charlie, with the Daylong seat - do you feel like you can ride until you're ready to quit now instead of riding until you can't stand the pain any longer? Does that make sense? I guess "can you let your head decide when to stop for the day rather than your backside making the decision for you" is another way to put it.

When has a sore butt ever stopped you from anything Scott?
