July 16, 2011. Saturday.

The City of Orting is having it's 4th annual Big O Poker Run. Last year the ride was about 160 miles in a circle around Mt. Rainier. Last year's entry fee was $10 with the money supporting the WA Soldier's Home and the Orting food bank.

Come on out to the country for a great day of riding. Coffee and Donuts are on me for any and all KawaNOW that show up.

I'll try to make that....if I'm not On Call for work that week. The summer schedule won't be out for a bit yet.

Charlie, hope you have lots of KawaNOW members show up. Also lots of others as I know the money will go for a good cause. Have a great time and be safe. Would love to ride around that great and beautiful mountain. I have been no closer than Fort Lewis. I was there for about two weeks TDY. Looked at that majestic mountain every day.

Just to help you remember it better.....here's a couple shots from the last time we rode up there. I've been looking at that gorgeous mountain for my entire life. It never gets old...
