My build date was 12-20. When I inquired yesterday, Kim said it would "hopefully" be done by the end of next week. Though I'm anxious to get my new seat, I'm fortunate enough to have another motorcycle to ride in the meantime.

My build date was Dec. 13, I got a call on the 21st that said it was done but when I called back they were gone for the holidays, so I called Kim on Jan 2 when they got back and it was shipped the same day. It should get it on Jan 8. It's supposed to be around 40 degrees here on the 8th and the 9th, so I think I'll be trying it out. Yeehaa!

I got my seat today and it looks and feels great! It was about 38 degrees out so I only did a 50 mile ride but so far I'm happy! Thanks Mike for putting this together for all of us !

Are your seats black or did you go with the grafite grey?

OK! USPS has confirmed my seats have arrived in Redding at 1:23 am today. I expect they will be delivered to RDL this afternoon or tomorrow morning. My build date is Jan 16. Checked Google maps to see where Shasta Lake is and got a streetview image of RDL's facility. I thought I would post this up as I've never seen an image before on any forum. Other than payroll, it doesn't look like they operate with any kind of crushing overhead, so I imagine it's a very profitable business for them.

My seat was waiting for me when I got home last night. I think it is very pretty on this bike. So far I like it but I have only ridden it for six miles or so. The wife says she feels much more secure on the back even without the back rest I usually have mounted.

Build date was 12/14/2012 and I think they did a great job.

Good looking seat for the rider, for the passenger, not so much.

In Production

Spoke with Kim yesterday and my seat for my GL1800 Goldwing is in Production. She says 10 business days to complete plus return shipping. Can't wait for the ultimate in comfort!
