Ape Hangers

I apologize if this has been asked before in another thread.
I am going to be unable to ride for the summer because of surgery so I am thinking about doing some apes on the Nomad. How difficult is it to replace the throttle/clutch/brake lines? Are there any extensions I could use to just add on to the existing lines??
Thanks in advance for the info.
