Skeeter, I don't know what bruch is but I sure wish I could come out and ride with you guys again. I sure enjoyed the first annual ride and what a great bunch of guys. Since I am working 5 days a week it just isn't possible to ride out to Texas these days. I hope you guys have a great ride. Be sure and take some pictures and maybe videos and post them.

Skeeter, Cheryl and I are still planning on being there for the brunch and ride. I will invite my son and let you know if he plans to make it. Look forward to seeing you again and meeting some of the Texas VROC folks.

I really thought the world of Chuck. His last post was wishing me and the wife a safe trip home.
I sure do miss him!
If they ever have one here on the best (east) coast I'll be there!!!

It would be fitting to do a long distance run in Chucks memory. There seemed to be no limitations to where he could be on any given weekend. It has been discussed but not yet materialized. Every year presents a new opportunity.....

If I recall correctly Chuck was one State shy of filling the lower 50, made numerous trips to the NorthWestern states to visit family and made every attempt to meet up with friends across the nation. All while working a full time job. I thought he was retired when I met him cuz he was always on the move.

From reading the other posts (TxVroc) looks like the Austin group will be heading out around 9am Sunday the 11th. and then meet up with everyone in Fredricksberg,Texas around 11am at Auslanders.
I know you have injured your hand badly and hope you are feeling much better. Look forward to seeing many many many people for Chuck and the 9/11 Memorial. =r=

I hope all of you that make it have a safe and great ride. Sure wish I could make it but it takes me about 16 hours just to get to Killeen. Just not enough time since I am working 5 days a week.

From everything I have read about Chuck he was a wonderful human being. Haven't heard a bad word about him. He was liked by all. I just wish I had gotten a chance to meet him.

Rest in peace Chuck. And may Jesus hold you in His arms.
