Moving passenger floorboards

My wife is 4'10", in real words...short...really short. She told me today that she has a hard time reaching the floorboards when we ride. My question is, can the floor boards be raised? If so, what is the best way?

SWB, you either gotta move those floorboards or trade in your wife for a taller one.....I'm thinkin the floorboards will be much cheaper

Trade her or put her on the rack and make her taller. I don't think she's inclined to either of those choices. lol

Moving passenger floorboards

I looked at the Kuryakyn website but couldn't find what I had in mind. I have two friends with Harleys who have a footrest/peg that can be lowered and raised depending on where the passenger wants it. I thought it was a Kury product. I'll try to remember to ask them this evening and will post it.

I checked gadget's page and the adapter to raise the floorboard must be fabricated. The guy who developed it is not selling and the pic he submitted isn't very detailed. May have to see if I can find someone who fabricates and see what they can do.

Good luck, I've looked for over a year for that for my vertically challanged lady but to no avail!

My bracket is the 3rd option on Gadget's page. I could make a tech drawing of Brians close coupled bracket if you can get it fabricated.

I'm sure I can find someone down here who will fabricate it.

Here's a more detailed drawing of the close floorboard bracket. Use the stock bolts to mount the bracket, and I put 5/16-18 threaded holes to mount the floorboard so you don't have to go looking for metric bolts.

my wife, too, is vertically challenged. She reaches the floorboards, but wanted somewhere else to put her feet as analternative, so, I put on a set of "bitch pegs" above and forward of the boards. I used Dyna highway peg assembly, she loves it, and it looks nice, too!
