All black is a fine thing, except at night... I will say that the best colors were the original red/red and green/green. They should come out with that again. May be for the tenth anniversary edition.

I like it! Two tones are cool
Ours is 05; black & silver. I kind of wish Mama K would offer it in Pearl White. They offered the 1600 Classic in Pearl White, but not the Nomad.
I would be interested in the radio if offered....

I'm thinking the radio setup must be available now as an additional purchase. I do like the color schemes.

The way yours is done is much better. Black doors on a red bag just doesn't work right. The reverse is much better.

I had a black KZ-1000 and a couple times a car didn't see me at night and almost hit me once and the other time grazed my foot. Bright lights are fine, but chrome don't get you home. Too much crap to polish. Then again, I rarely clean mine let alone polish...I'd rather ride.

Mine's the same way Ponch. I like the all black for looks, but I see your point. Tough to see at night.

When I made my decision to buy new I asked my dealer to contact the manufacturer to find out if there were going to be any changes or modifications to the 2008 that were not on the 2007 model. The answer was "no" with the exception of the annual color change. (unless the lied to me)

I was given a pretty good discount buying the 2007 that I would not have gotten ordering a 2008 (right around $1800 total off the dealer price). AND...the way I figured it...new was new.

Hence, if there is something with an antenna that can be seen on the 2008 it is most likely not a stock item.
