 I stopped a guy one early evening on a suspicion of DUI because he failed to stay in his traffic lane on a slight curve and went onto the soft shoulder twice.  :(" title=" " border="0"/> As I approached the window I could clearly see that he was not DWI...he was DWO. His birthday on his driver's license was 1911. He was 96 and his bride was 94. He told me the exact reason I stopped him! He was excited about being stopped and informed me that he was going to tell all of his friends. I gave him a warning and kept thinking that I hope I get stopped for DWO (Driving While Old) someday. In fact, I want to get stopped for speeding on my Nomad when I am 96!  NEEDLESS TO SAY DOC, YOU have a lot of riding time left! |
