Rally return check in...

Had a blast. Since my wife's family lives in Maggie/Waynesville, we had the rare occasion to have a babysitter for some 2 up riding. We left on Thursday and crossed through Cherokee into Gatlinburg and on home. Really enjoyed meeting everyone. Fantiastic job...

What a great time! Didn't have a bad ride or a bad day, and two or three adventures.

I met the greatest people, I could have stayed another week!!

I appreciate Todd and Kawgirls time and effort of pulling this thing off.

Rally return check in...

Got back today around 1:45 PM. Had to cut the return short last night due to very severe storm in Columbus, GA area (parked the bike and trailer under an overpass near Camp Blanding for over an hour, almost got blown into a guard rail right before that). Today almost got hit by a lady pulling out in front of me 1.5 miles from the house.

We are back and unloaded so it was a successful return trip. Thanks to all for the great experience.

Marge and I, Cliff and Diana, Bigsid1 (Mike), and Richard all got back to my place around 3pm yesterday. Took the long scenic ride home. Few rain drops on the ride but not enough to get real wet.

Thanks to Amy, Todd and all others for their hard work putting the Rally together.

Rally return check in...

Kathy and I left Maggie Valley about 6:30am Friday morning. Took I-40 all the way to Little Rock, then we decided to just keep on going till we got home in Lindale, TX. Took us 15.5 hours, but we made it home last night, safe and sound at 8:30pm.

I can't begin to express how I feel about this rally. We had double the attendees and double the Nomad count than in 2009. My thanks to Todd and Amy for creating a true KawaNOW memory. I enjoyed seeing and meeting everyone and Kathy enjoyed meeting all of you.

KawaNOW and FOREVER!

Deb and I made it home around 3:00 pm yesterday. Had a nice trip home, no bad weather, thank goodness. Kawhead rode back with us so we just took our time and enjoyed the ride. Todd, Amy thanks for putting on a great rally. We both enjoyed it and it was good to see old friends and make some new ones.

Annette and I made it home at 3:30 pm today. Would have made it home sooner but ran into a severe thunderstorm between Lexington and Jackson, TN. Rode about five mile in the storm, almost got blew over into oncoming traffic a couple time before we found a safe place out of the storm and very heavy rain. Then after the storm passed we rode about 100 more mile in moderate to light rain, the temperature had dropped to 64 degree and it was quite windy, but we made it safe and sound. The temperature stayed in the 64 to 74 degree range until we got within 15 mile of home and then it was like a oven here.

Al and I pulled in about 8:30pm, we could have been home a few hours sooner but stopped to do some shopping in Erie Pa. then the duty free store. Im all stocked up with booze and cigars for a while.
We had a great time at the rally and really enjoyed meeting everyone there. What a great bunch of people! I can't wait to do it again.
