LOL umm thats within my beer budget. One of my R&Rs from Iraq I rung the bell in a thai bar and bought for 4 times that amount. I dont remember doing it as they got me drunk first. It was either that or buddies signed my name to the bill. Taking their word for it but I sure do look at that bill and wonder :-[

As a newbie I wasn't aware of this requirement and I am not sure I could handle being that close to "The Darkside".

I just had the chance to meet some of the guys from Quebec and other Ontario members that will be going and it they made me feel welcome and only made the idea of Rally really exciting.

Hope you can make it, your don't have any allergies do you?

That would probably be more like washing Todd's Nomad!

Thank you for the welcome. I am definitely going to be there. I am very familiar with bike specific forums as I belong to another one from the bike I just had. Unfortunately getting some kind of meet and greet up was like pulling teeth :'( I have to say this is pretty awesome that the board not only sets this up but more importantly the members embrace it.

Even if I find the rallys are not for me (which I doubt) I am still going just to look at the various mods on the bikes as well as ride some beautiful country.

Hey Can,

I just went for my first M&G we rode 470 miles last Sunday. Some of us from Southern Ontario rode up to meet our members from Quebec it was about 1/2 way and we had a great lunch together.

I was surprised the Quebec contingent didn't offer to buy lunch as bikes cost so much less there; but it was great and I am sure you are going to meet lots of super folks who share your interests.

Hope we meet up, just look for Bogie (Mike) a really good looking guy with all the single women will be hanging on me (I wish) ;)

Rally Question

My thought is that the HD owners have to wash at least 10 different Nomads everday by the end of the week all the Nomads will be clean

You thought wrong. Nice try, though.

That's pretty funny Mike, do you realize the extra expense we Quebecers went to to meet up with you guys, gas costs 15 cents a liter more here.

Canedriver, As you can see from all the posts we get to be pretty good Internet Friends on this forum with a common bond, the Nomad. As for the rallies and get togethers, we bought our bikes to ride them, what better way to do that than to ride to meet up with those Friends.
See you in Maggie Valley.

Rally Question

I feel bad for you Norm but you did gas up in Ontario; so you still should have bought lunch. Guess I'll have to wait for Maggie Valley.

Have a great week.
