I would add...do a search for "stator". We had another member replace his just last week. The information can also be found in the service manual, which every owner should purchase if they plan to do their own work.

Remove the fake primary cover.
Then you remove the stator cover. One will be in the cover and the other inside the rotating magnet. Why do you want to remove them? MT
