Maybe look to see if there is a brighter bulb option.

Hopefully it was adequately "greased."

I have a OEM windshield and a OEM light bar no problems. Some 3rd party windshields don't fit.

For those using the Chuckster light bar, can you use your lowers too?

Right now my 2004 1500fi has oversized lowers but I have read how to make my own so if needed I can either cut my lowers to fit or make new ones.

I hate to loose my lowers for the interstate!

Just remember, Chusters lights are not adjustable up and down like the spots on a Cobra or regular lightbar are.
At least the ones I put on my wife's 900LT weren't. They are now on a shelf in the garage.
I put a Cobra lightbar on it like the one on my 08 Nomad.

Chucksters are adjustable up and down but not left or right.
They are nice lights.

Yup, you are correct, it was not having the left and right adjustment I didn't like.

The light bar is a matter of what looks best to you. The light that you put on the bar can save your life. I went 100% LED. The light is white and bright as sunny day. Less stress on the eyes. See and be seen. Lower power draw AND better brighter light is a win-win. I have a set of PIA 530 LEDS that I am not using if anyone is interested, I installed the Trucklite headlight and Rigid Industries LED's for passing lights. OMG!! Turns night into day.

Have you tried LEDs as a replacement yet?

Hi Ryan. Thx for the Chucksters endorsement and bulb details. Its been about 3 years, since the above comment. Are you still riding the 2008 Nomad with the Chuckster's lights? I ride a 2004 and am seriously considering the Chuckster's lightbar IF I can easily swap out the orig. bulbs for a set of LED bulbs. I need confirmation details. Do you have any idea if this has been easily and successfully done on this system?
