Waving Send us your Videos!

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you would be interested in 'donating' any of your riding videos to us? I'd like to start a Youtube channel for the forum, and fill it with videos from all our members. This way maybe we can get the word out more about the forum, and also have a nice collection of Vulcan-related videos on one page.

So if you have ANY videos, no matter how big, small, or amateur-ish, please email them to us and we'll add them to the channel.

Send 'em in! mail@vulcanbagger.com

Thanks!

Can you take them from another video that's been uploaded to youtube?

Here is one I made on our way to the Rally in the Redwoods.

So if you have ANY videos...
Not really sure if any of my videos would be appropriate but I'll send them your way. If you use my videos, you might consider putting them in a private YouTube channel. Just cuz it's a family forum.

Should have made it more clear... I need the originals, before uploaded to YouTube. And they must be mailed to us ( mail@VulcanBagger.com ).

Thanks

Not sure why, but you're gonna limit yourself to those guys that shot the video and threw it in the corner (fish has some on DVD) or new videos just shot (of which there aren't many - winter is here!). And to email a video is not a go from my ISP that limits my email to 2M - all my video files are much bigger than that (I just looked. My smallest video is 2.9M, and that is a highly compressed video and looks crappy). If you had an FTP site, however...

Most folks have the original of the one they posted to youtube - is that what you want, or entirely original material?

Tim

I'd like to understand the need to have the videos in your possession, rather than linking to already publicly available content. For some © is important. Please explain.

Glad you liked it. Wish I had split it more evenly, 50/50 between part 1 and 2, but I felt encouraged to rush that one out in a few hours.

Yea I know emailing will be a problem for some, but that's more or less for the smaller videos. Another option is Photobucket, in which you could just email me the link, and I'll grab it from there. And no, it doesn't have to be all new 'original' material...if it's already uploaded to Youtube (or somewhere else), that's fine.

Like my original post states, I think it would be nice to have a channel filled with Vulcan videos just from our members. And, it would maybe help with getting the word about the forum since I'll watermark them. If someone wants to retain their copyright then they don't have to, and shouldn't, share. This is just for those who would like to help out.
