This is a great place for information on your Vulcans and an even better place to make new friends, be it locally or across state lines.

This forum is very unique in that it was designed to be like friends sitting around a table over a few brews. In the beginning, there were only a few members, so it really was like that for some time. Now, this organization has grown immensely. I can assure you that you will get out of this forum exactly what you put into it. If you spend some time here, attend the rallies (while buying the VIP's a round or two....just kidding....kinda...), you will make many friends you never knew you had. While some of the longtime members may have moved to other brands, we stay here because of the great friendships we have cultivated over many years and the enjoyment we get from tossing a little gas on each other's fires. Anyways, welcome and enjoy...and if you see me at a rally....I prefer tequila instead of beer...especially if its yours....!
You forgot to mention the crazy Uncle chained in the basement, and the brother passed out in the recliner with no job that moved in on us with his batty wife and despicable brat kids. Then they's the weird guy who just got out of the mental hospital living in the garage, that the son met

Very nice to see more interest.
It's the same 25 questions asked over and over again.

Durn Scott! I'm afraid you done reached Top Cat status much too early for a young man of your age.
You just a boy.
A boy your age shouldn't say such things.
For long the Hog's gonna be dust covered sitting in the shed, and you'll be a crotchety, wrinkled up frail old man in a rocking chair on the front porch trying to sell it for what a brand new one cost, if you don't mend your ways.

You can thank me later should you heed my advice.

Most of them are answered on Gadget's site as well.

Can't blame the newbies as they are just excited to have access to the wealth of knowledge.

Maybe the answer is utilizing the "stickys" or having one forum that is headlined " Newbies...here are 25 answers to the top 25 questions? "

I wonder how simple it would be to create ?

Or just a sticky suggesting to read their owner's manual.

Good points by everyone. Scott is right but having only been on here a year or so myself, I can still relate to the new guy's questions but also their being brave enough to step out there and throw out a question that even though may be answered before is kind of an introduction after their noob page intro. As many great guys are on here just think of how many have moved on and taken their knowledge with them.
We owe an incredible debt to you old school Kawanow guys and the questions may be redundant but have patience, some of the guys asking about tires and oil today will someday be the BD's, CJ's, Jareds, Norms, Rings, Rastas, and even Tripps,.. and heaven help us there may even be a new Kawhead out there somewhere lurking, too afraid to ask his first question as he is hiding the Sasquatch he captured in his basement...

No, I don't think there will EVER be another Kawhead. They threw away the mold after he was born.

Agreed...he quite possibly could be the illegitimate cross-breed spawn of Sasquatch...more commonly known as the missing link...!!

This isn't a Goldwing forum, not everyone here is retired. I still work for a living.

I thank daddy throwed that thing out across the yard over the fence. Last I heard the man next door was using it for a water bowl for his dawgs.

The more tequila I get the braver I get. Actually, I pass out on the third glass, and I think the second,my cloths start coming off.
Just putting that out there in case anybody needs to know .

Kawhead is Coach's doings. I think he was gonna approach Kawgirl with it, but common sense and thin air convinced him she'd scratch that hideous head clean off even with his shoulders.

So he MADE me take it. He's got a bad habit of making me do stuff. I'm glad we ain't locked up together in a federal penitentiary. I can only imagine things he'd be making me do in there over and over. I imagine about it too much some would say.
