Doesn't seem to be much interest.

And we did something right at work and I won a trip to Cancun.
The trip is in May and I can't take off in April, May and June.
So we won't be making it to Caddo Valley.

Now if I can get just get passports.
You'd think they would give you a bit more notice.
Or make the destination somewhere like St. Thomas where you wouldn't need a passport.

Congrats Dave. You may need to expedite (add a couple of $$) the passports. Get your pics, find your birth certificate and get it started as quick as you can.

Yep, I've ordered my birth cert. from Texas. I was told what I had wasn't good enough.
Crystal's is at her moms house somewhere. We'll drive to Little Rock and get it instead.
I hope this doesn't turn out to be more trouble than it's worth.

If you all can get something together go for it. I am booked solid and can't attend, and was just informed my daughter is getting married June 8th and I have a wedding to pay for so there goes attending Nationals right out the window.

Congrats on the wedding. We'll miss you at the nationals.

Eloping is where its at. Ann and I got married in Miami, OK at Lavern's Marriage Parlor. We got there, got the required blood test, went across the street to the court house for the license and then ceremony. All in about an hour and a half and about $100 total. Looks like it would still be < $250. Ann's mom had a small gathering for family so we didn't miss out on wedding gifts when we got back home.

Geez......I tried giving my daughter $6,000 to fly to one of the Sandals resorts for her wedding but she wouldn't hear of it. My son in law was all for it though. That would have saved me a bundle.

We were both in college and had no money. Looking back it was probably . We just spent a couple of nights in a hotel and were back at our part time jobs on Monday. We almost blew it though. We were going to go on Saturday, but found out we had to get the license on a weekday. Ann had to scramble to find somebody to cover her shift and off we went. We spent about $200 on rings on the way there.
