Ann's Spyder got a face-lift.

We had hoped to get this completed before the SC rally, but it just didn't work out. Here's a few pics of The Spyder's new look.

More can be seen here.

Ann did an amazing job and showed remarkable patience in installing this kit - there were nearly 60 pieces and it covers nearly every painted surface. This took almost 20 hours total time - about 2 hours last Friday, 6 hours each last Saturday and Sunday, about 4 hours yesterday and a couple more this morning. She was relentless - hunting down and eliminating (nearly) every wrinkle and air bubble. Stuff I could never have done.

I was the assistant. My job was to hold the end up on some of the longer pieces, cut off some of the backing paper, mist the surface with water (allows you to lift and reposition the vinyl) and point the hair dryer at the right place on command when she needed to form the vinyl to some of the curved surfaces.

We need to put a coat of wax on it before we head to the Canmore rally, but it is absolutely stunning. This link shows the detail of the design.

After years of installing graphics to our Motocross bikes I can appreciate the amount of work and potential pucker factor of ending up with a crease or bubble around a curve in the body work, great job, look awesome!

IDK, it still doesn't pass one part of the wave test: Are more than 50% of its wheels mounted with car tires?

That sure is a sharp looking 3-wheeler though.
