Knew the bike needed some gas so I took a little trip. Only did around 15 miles but it was good.

High 40s when I left this morning to meet friends for Breakfast in Central Valley, NY - a gorgeous high 50s when I returned to New City -- just under 60 miles round trip. At least 10 degrees milder than usual for this time of year!

It's about 76° here right now, sunny without a cloud in the sky. Maybe I'll take the bike out for a little cruise.

CJ, don't be cruel!!!

Forecast was a pretty good for western NC today. Left the house at 8:45 AM when temp hit 50 on TV. 90 miles running due west on Hwy 11. It "meanders" through SC along the NC border and makes for a relaxing but enjoyable start. Caught Hwys 14 and 176 and headed North up "The Saluda Grade" past Asheville (locals say that road is crooked'r then a dogs hind leg) which made for smiles plus the temp had made it to 61 and the sun was out! Grabed the BRP and went east. Came down off the mountain on Hwy 80 (that road is really bent and the Nomad's boards made sparks several times) Then worked way back to hwy 74 and a late BBQ sandwich in Shelby 'fore I got home at 5PM. Was really tempted to ride around developement for a mile as had clocked 299 miles when hit driveway.

Was able to get out yesterday for a nice long ride. Left Lansdale Pa and cruised west/southwest thru rural Chester County and then south to Chesapeake City Maryland for lunch. Took 82 North to 23 in Lancaster area and the. Headed for home. Just under 200 miles for the day. Was able to get 39mpg too.

It was about 60° around noon today, so I hopped on, rode over to my son's place, woke him up and we took a ride. Up towrd Waterton Canyon, then by Chatfield and the back way into Castle Rock, then took the highway home - got in 75 miles. It is supposed to snow tonight, so got a ride in anticipation of putting it away for awhile.

It was about 30 degrees this morning so took the car to work but when I went back to work after coming home for lunch thought it would be a good idea to ride since it was about 45 and sunny b then! We are expecting flurries tomorrow, snow this weekend so after work went for a short spin. Hoping it is not the last of the year yet, since I do want to make a parts run to J&P Cycle!

Yesterday I rode 400 miles in 40 degree temps on some beautiful back roads between the gulf coast and middle Tennessee. Made a stop at a Walmart to buy some hunting socks and "hot hands" because my feet were freezing. Then I stopped in Moundville, AL to see the Indian Mounds. Alabama sure has some beautiful roads, scenery, and history to explore.

Just got back from a 1,160 mile trip to Eldridge Children's Home benefit ride. What a great two days of riding and events.

Finally stopped raining so decided to ride to the Post Office. It was 44 degrees so only a 5 mile ride. Might be warmer tomorrow or Saturday. Hope so anyway.
