Brake Pedal too low

My foot will not fit under the brake pedal, is there a way to correct this? Also does anyone know if there is a leather Nomad jacket or vest available?

Thanks,
George

I've never seen a leather Nomad jacket or vest. The best you could do is buy a jacket or vest and have a Nomad patch sewn on it.

Do you have a service manual? The brake pedal height adjustment procedure is detailed in there.

Standard pedal position: About 110 mm (4.3 inches) measured from pedal top to footboard top.

Maybe Yellow Jacket can scan the page from the manual, I don't have a flatbed scanner.

In a nutshell, you adjust the pushrod between the brake pedal linkage and the brake slave cylinder to change the height of the pedal.

CJ's on top of it.

If you need more room on the floorboards, might consider going with Scootworks brake pedal or Kaw "Drifter" that a lot of us have done. Drifter extends the pedal out about 1 1/2" Check Gadgets site for complete details. Very easy install.
