ROAD TRIP !!!

Thanks Trip. I am really looking forward to a few days away. Fly fishing trips on the motorcycle is what I live for in the summer. Yellowstone, Henry's Fork, South fork or just going for monster carp in the Snake River. Had one of those break my 7 wt rod this summer! Great fun.

VC, I just got online to write down your phone number. Not sure what my schedule will be but I still want to meet you and listen to those pipes. I will call you when I get to Walla Walla.

ROAD TRIP !!!

Beez, you are welcome. Remember to leave the protective vinyl coating on the Lexan while you cut it and buff the edges. Then remove the coating from both sides so that you can see where the panel is relative to the fork downtube and your windshield. Mark the top hole and drill it. Put one screw through the hole and into the lower mounting braket top hole. Then mark the second hole and drill it. be sure to pay attention to keeping the inside edge paralel to your fork tube. Drill the second hole and use that piece for a template for the other side then it is just a matter of bolting it all together. Enjoy.

On the bright side I have the oil changed in the Nad engine and rear end. Just need to pack.

ROAD TRIP !!!

Hey Nico. I had a great trip getting here. We are planning our day for tomorrow. A 70 mile trip through some of the most beautiful country on earth and a chance to fly fish pristine mountain streams. I will try to get pix but you guys really need to tell me how to post them in the body of the text. I have been practicing with my signature, in case you missed it.
Nomad ran flawlessly to get here. This is a great bike.

You will hear from me again in a couple of days.

ROAD TRIP !!!

I used to trout fish but deep sea is now the choice for me. 100 miles out fishing for Yellowfin Tuna and all the sushi you can eat on the ride back is an experience in itself. My dearly departed friend Mike (Grizz) on the left won the pool when this picture was taken. Out of 18 guys we were the only ones that caught on this trip. He has a yellowfin and mine is an albacore or Longfin. I've been on catches where there were no fish under 200#. Looking at them from the upper deck they looked bigger than the guys. These fish weighed in at around 65#.
