Just a quick hey-how-ya doin' from SoCal. I ride a 2008 Vulcan 2000, non-classic. It's not a bagger...yet...but hopefully soon. It's got VH PowerShots, engine guards, passenger b/r, and luggage rack, just need to put on some bags, ape hangers, and driving lights. I picked 'er up brand new in late August 2011 and am up to 33,000 miles so far. Sadly, most of that is commuting.
